Okuma MA‑4000H

The MA-4000H is a high-performance horizontal machining centre designed for efficient, automated production of small-to-medium sized work-pieces. Despite its compact footprint, it features one of the largest machining envelopes in its class and is engineered for true “lights-out” operation. With its high-speed spindle, advanced chip management (including the optional “sludgeless tank”), and the latest OSP-P500 control platform, it enables manufacturers to improve throughput, accuracy and energy efficiency.

• Large travel envelope in a compact size – X/Y/Z travels approx. 560 mm × 650 mm × 685 mm, enabling a Ø630 × 900 mm work-area in a floor-space of ~2,300 × 5,065 mm.
• High-speed spindle & variant options – Standard No.40 spindle at 15,000 rpm, with optional 12,000 / 20,000 rpm versions for flexible material/application demands.
• Rapid axis moves / quick table indexing – Rapid traverse up to 60 m/min (2,362 ipm) and table indexing (90°) in ~0.8 s for minimal non-cut time.
• Effective chip & coolant management – Internal chamber covers optimise chip evacuation; optional “sludgeless tank” reduces tank cleaning cycles and coolant downtime.
