Iscar EC-H4M
The EC-H4M family from ISCAR is a high-performance 4-flute solid carbide endmill series engineered for both high-material-removal-rate roughing and finish operations across steels, stainless steels, cast irons and super-alloys. With a variable-pitch flute design and alternating helix angles (35° & 37°), the tool is designed to minimize chatter, evacuate chips effectively via large gullets and maintain high productivity in demanding machining environments.
Features:
- 6 to 20 mm diameters
- High removal rates
- 4 flute endmills with different helix and variable pitch
- Cylindrical and Weldon shanks
Key Highlights:
- 4-flute configuration with variable pitch and dual helix angles (35° & 37°) for improved chatter dampening and dynamic stability.
- Large chip gullets and optimised tooth/flute geometry to support high metal-removal rates and efficient chip evacuation.
- Available in a diameter range of 6 mm to 20 mm (and up to 25 mm in some variants) with both cylindrical and Weldon shank options.
- Capable of full-slot milling up to 2×D (2× diameter) for increased productivity.
- Made from grade IC900 carbide with PVD coating, suited for a wide variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron and harder alloys.
- Especially suited for use on machines with moderate power (such as BT40/ISO40) thanks to improved damping and lower power-consumption demands.
