Position switches PS116

The PS116 is a compact, safety-rated position (limit) switch designed to detect the position of movable machine components or guards (sliding, rotating, etc.).

• Compact & robust design — small size, metal + reinforced thermoplastic body. 

• Wide variety of actuators — plungers, roller levers, rod lever, etc. The actuator heads are adjustable in 45° steps. 

• Flexible mounting / connections — symmetrical housing, cable-or M12 connector available, bottom or side. 

• Protection / environment — IP66 / IP67 rating; works in harsh, wet, dusty environments. 

• Safety relevant — designed per EN ISO 13849-1; can achieve safety performance levels (e.g. using one switch up to PL d, two for PL e). Also meets switch opening requirements for elevators per EN 81-1.
